Chapter 1: What does DMC really stand for?
Contrary to most people’s beliefs, DMC, in our industry, doesn’t stand for Deep Meaningful Conversations. Although, in ways, this is exactly what is signifies. A DMC, or Destination Management Company, is there for you when you need them most. At the creative stage, when no idea is too big, when the aim is to WOW and enchant, when the end goal is to make you look as professional and informed about Ireland and all it’s wonders, as if you were Irish yourself. We are on hand to alleviate financial worries, making sure your event stays within your budget. EPI have a full accounts and financial team in house to ensure smooth invoicing and can also assist you with international VAT returns.
When you reach the all important site inspection stage, again, we are there to WOW! We want you to win the business (agent) or to impress your CEO (corporate). We like to think that a DMC stands for more than just ‘destination management’, it stands for professionalism, respect, creativity and above all else, relationships.
