Internship Specification:
Working within the Sales & Marketing team assisting with the completion of some of the following tasks
- Creating and developing proposals for foreign clients seeking to hold meetings and incentive trips in Ireland
- Creating and developing budgets to accompany the above
- Liaising with suppliers – hotels, venues, transport, restaurants and activities etc. – to develop unique and exciting programs
- Liaising with existing foreign agents and providing them with tailored creative assets
- Administrative assistance with the organisation, co-ordination and implementation of site inspections
- Assisting with the logistical management of Venue management, Catering, Audio Visual Equipment, Evening Function include staging, lighting, entertainment, décor, Excursions and Tours, Conference & Event Materials, Signage, Exhibition management, Hotel allocations, Marketing & Promotion.
- Corresponding and contracting with suppliers.
- Performing other administrative tasks and duties as may be required.
- Work on-site with the Operations Team during event.
- Reporting to your assigned Manager on a daily basis
- The following are the types of projects you would be involved in: Award Ceremonies, Incentive Programs, Corporate Meetings, Exhibitions, Consumer & Trade Shows, Site Inspections, Fam Trips etc
Key skills and attributes:
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Creativity and flair – with a hands on approach
- Attention to detail, organized and punctual
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Multi-tasker with the ability to work on several projects at once
- Relationship builder – both internally and externally
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good Knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel is essential
- Excellent communication skills and phone demeanor
- Professional attitude towards all stakeholders
- Exceptional Internet researching skills
- Fluent English is essential, additional languages would be an advantage

Internship Job Specification:
Working within the Operations team assisting with the completion of some of the following tasks:

- Venue management, Catering, Audio Visual Equipment, Evening Function include staging, lighting, entertainment, décor, Excursions and Tours, Conference & Event Materials, Signage, Exhibition management, Hotel allocations, Marketing & Promotion
- Liaising with suppliers – hotels, venues, transport, restaurants and activities etc. – to develop unique and exciting programs
- Corresponding with suppliers
- Re-confirming dates, times and booking information with all suppliers
- Administrative assistance with the organisation, co-ordination and implementation of site inspections
- Attending client meetings and preparation of meeting notes
- Performing other administrative tasks and duties as may be required
- Assiting with the preperation and booking of Site Inspections and Fam Trips
- Invoice writing
- Updating spreadsheets for Financial Controller
- Funding applicaitons to Failte Ireland for Site Inspections and Fam Trips
- Work on-site with Operations during event (after hours and weekends included)
- On a daily basis reporting to your assigned Manager

Salary: This is an unpaid internship however a nominal fee of €200 a week will be paid. Salary will be paid on a monthly basis.
